if i stabbed an octopus in its left kidney would it fly away with my mailman?

this is a legitimate question here. i have heard these wild stories from my grandpa about how he was in the war and he saw an octopus flying across the sky. then i heard that an octopus has several of the same organ. is my mailman in any danger? if so please tell me right away so that i can warn him. thank you
